Yes, there are still a few things that I can't pay online, so I have to write checks.

I still have a chequebook, but I think that the last cheque that I wrote was the deposit to rent the last house that I lived in - that was in about July 2012. I paid the deposit for my current home by card.

Yes. but very rarely.
I write cheques for home maintenance appointments (as the 2 companies I work with don't take credit card and I never have that much cash on hand)
I also sometimes pay vendor fees for tables/booths at festivals, conventions, trade shows and the such that way.

I've always paid bills with checks, but I haven't done that since November. I still use them if the kids need money for something for school.
