It is the default topic for polite conversation in Britain, so it certainly comes in useful. As idle passing comment with an acquaintance, I wouldn't say I particularly 'enjoy' it, but I certainly have enjoyed more in depth conversations on the subject.

I'm English, and the weather is - notoriously - a national obsession, so while I don't especially like talking about the weather, with certain individuals, specifically close family members, I so often do.

The only thing I just really can't handle at all is heat combined with humidity. I can't breathe and I sweat and sweat and sweat very noticeably. I can deal with any other conditions quite well.
